Ethics

Ethical issues arise every day in health care. Everyone has a role to play in ensuring the ethical delivery of care, from bedside to meeting room. At Dundas Manor, ethical principles and values are incorporated into the way decisions are made and care is delivered every day.

Dundas Manor and Winchester District Memorial Hospital have a joint Ethics Committee that uses a team approach and provides resources to staff through education, case reviews and discussions. We use an ethical framework to guide our decisions.
