Strategic Plan
At Winchester District Memorial Hospital, our Strategic Plan sets a
clear path for the next five years. Guided by our Commitment Statement and our
focus on Compassionate Excellence, it shapes how we deliver care,
support our people, and serve our community.
The plan was developed with input from those who know our hospital best; staff, physicians, midwives, students, volunteers, patients, community members, and the WDMH Board of Directors. Together, their perspectives helped shape a plan grounded in expert insight, health‑care system trends, and the needs of our local community.
The Strategic Plan is built around four key priorities that guide our work:
- Exceptional Care and Better Access
- Our People – A Great Place to Work, recognizing everyone who contributes to care and support at WDMH, including staff, physicians, midwives, students, and volunteers
- Working Together for Better Care
- Accountability and Sustainability
Reviewed annually, the plan keeps WDMH focused, responsive, and moving forward together.
