At Winchester District Memorial Hospital
(WDMH), great care starts with our people. Every day, our teams bring our
commitment to Compassionate Excellence to life combining clinical expertise
with kindness, empathy, and patient-centred care. That approach is reflected in
our latest patient satisfaction results, based on feedback from January 1st
to March 31st, 2026.
So how did we do? Here’s how patients
rated their overall satisfaction:
- Day Surgery: 98%
- Maternity: 95%
- Medical/Surgical:
92%
- Emergency: 88%
“Patient satisfaction reflects the entire
hospital experience,” said Cholly Boland, CEO. “It comes down to each
interaction; from the care patients receive to the support and kindness they
experience along the way. It also includes the behind-the-scenes work that
helps our teams deliver exceptional care.”
WDMH surveys are sent electronically to a
sample of patients who provide their email address and consent at registration.
Their feedback plays an important role in helping us learn, grow, and continue
to provide safe, high-quality care.

dedication shape every patient journey.
