Dundas Manor prides itself on the care we provide to every resident. But what is most important is what they think.

We are pleased to share some of their thoughts about what impresses them about Dundas Manor: 

• We are blessed and appreciative of the wonderful care you provide for your residents.
  
  
• As you are aware, it's a difficult journey for family members to entrust the care of their loved ones initially to what are strangers. All of the staff at Dundas Manor, from care staff, support staff, activity staff and nursing staff vanished our concerns and have given us trust in the wonderful care you provide. Many of our friends and family commented and marvelled at the wonderful atmosphere and activities they have witnessed.
  
  
• I am writing to thank you and your staff for the wonderful care that my mother received during her last days at Dundas Manor. She had been a resident with you for 3 years and during that time, your staff has been professional, kind and compassionate with mom and our family. My contact with Marj Milne and Diane Gravel, was invaluable. They are both such an asset to your team.
  
  During the last 5 days, being at mom’s bedside allowed me to see the day to day staff connection with their clients. The respect, kindness and caring from nurses, PSW’s, dietary, cleaning and activity staff made me very proud to be a part of the healthcare profession. Please pass on our heartfelt thank you to ALL the staff at Dundas Manor.
  
  
• Being admitted into a nursing stay is very difficult. You can see confusion and anxiety on their face. It's a huge transition. After time, even one night, there is a change. Dundas Manor is a place to call 'home'. The staff is exceptional people. We say thank you to them, but in our hearts are tears of gratitude. We have peace knowing our family member is well cared for.
  
  
• On behalf of our family, I would like to thank the staff at Dundas Manor for their compassionate and loving care that was given to my Mom. We could not have asked for anything more. Your care over-exceeded our expectations. Such a wonderful sense of community and compassion for the loved ones you are entrusted with.  Special thanks to Ryan for your professionalism and compassion. To Elaina for sharing my last moments with my Mom and guiding me through such a special time. Your hugs and compassion were truly above and beyond.
  
  
• There is no gift we can give to express our appreciation to the staff from Administration up to and including kitchen, maintenance, nursing and the groundskeepers. Thank you to Vicki, Heather, Wilma, Crystal, Jennifer, Janet, Doug, Nancy, Bonnie, Henny, Alan, Mel, Jorri, Debbie, Julie, Sherri, Jennifer, Joelle and many others. We treasure you all. The things you do in addition to the special outings, the new bicycle program and improved health care with a Nurse Practitioner, shows that there is no better place than Dundas Manor for those needing to be in a nursing home.
